The Weavwork agents

Your inbox, already read.

Two agents work inside the record. One reads your email against the right production order, sample request or shipment and keeps the numbers honest. The other reads your inventory and rate of sale and drafts the replenishment order — down to the cloth.

Where it sits

One chain, this link.

Every flow in Weavwork is a view of the same connected record — so nothing here is a module bolted on beside the others.

  1. StyleSKU tree · BOM
  2. Samplerounds · specs
  3. Ordergrid · price list
  4. Production managementplan · WIP · QC
  5. Shipmentvessel · ETA
  6. Warehousepick · pack · count
  7. Accountingcommitted spend · supplier bills

The agents read and write across the chain: email against the right record, and replenishment against what the run will consume. A drafted purchase order becomes committed spend the moment you approve it, and a supplier bill read out of the inbox lands on the order it belongs to.

How it runs

Step by step, on one record.

  1. 01
    Connect your mailbox

The inbox agent reads each thread against the record it belongs to — a production order, a sample request, a shipment — and files a summary there instead of leaving it in someone’s inbox.

  2. 02
    Numbers stay honest

When the factory writes that 450 of 900 are sewn, the order says 450 of 900. When the mill sends the shipping documents, the shipment number is linked and the documents are filed.

  3. 03
    Reply from the record

Choose a prefilled follow-up or write your own line; the agent formats the email, sends it, and the reply comes back onto the same record.

  4. 04
    Know what to order

The replenishment agent reads inventory and sales, takes the months of cover you want, and drafts the order. If there is not enough fabric on hand or at the mill to cut it, it says so and adds the metres.

A week with it

What it looks like on a Wednesday.

Three days from one week, on the sample data that runs through this site.

Monday
Sixty emails, read
The weekend’s factory and mill email is filed against its production orders and shipments, each with a summary. Lin at Bao Loc wrote that 450 of 900 are sewn; PO-2036 says 450 of 900.
Wednesday
The reorder, drafted
The replenishment agent reads fourteen weeks of sales and current stock, takes the four months of cover you set, and drafts three orders — and warns that navy 220 gsm jersey is 760 m short for the run.
Friday
A reply from the record
You pick the follow-up — photos of the 450 before finishing — and the agent writes it, sends it from your address, and files the reply on PO-2036 when it lands.
What it removes

The jobs that stop existing.

Reading sixty emails for one number
The number is on the order. The email that carried it is summarised underneath, with the original a click away.
Ordering late
Coverage is calculated from real sell-through, so the reorder is drafted while there is still time to make it.
The fabric shortfall at cutting
Cloth is checked against the run before the run is placed, not on the morning the cutter opens the roll.
Who works in it

The same record, three seats.

Production planning
Order state kept honest from supplier replies, and replenishment drafted with the fabric behind it checked.
Purchasing
Three purchase orders raised in one click — two to the factory, one to the mill — from a draft you can adjust.
Everyone with an inbox
The number on the record, the email that carried it underneath, and a reply written from where the work is.
Questions

The ones we get asked.

Does the agent send email on its own?

It drafts. You pick the reply — a prefilled follow-up or your own words — and it formats and sends it. Nothing goes out that you did not choose.

What if it misreads an email?

Every change it makes is on the record with the summary and the source email beside it, so a wrong number is visible and a one-click fix.

How does replenishment decide quantities?

From stock on hand, stock in transit, the rate of sale and the months of cover you set — per variant, and rolled up to the fabric each variant consumes.

Which records can the inbox agent work with?

Production orders, sample requests and shipments today — the three conversations that carry most of a manufacturer’s email.
