Weavwork was founded by an international group of friends and colleagues — spread from Brisbane to London, Las Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco — who all grew up around manufacturing: families and businesses built on textiles, cutting tables, sample rooms and shipping schedules.
We watched our friends and families carry a growing plate of work on manufacturing software written fifteen and twenty years ago — systems that simply couldn’t keep up with how much a modern maker juggles. And when they looked at moving, the modern generic ERPs on offer were too complicated to map the specific workflows a real factory, brand or distributor actually runs.
