Cookie policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This page lists every cookie weavwork.com can set, what each one is for, and how to change your mind. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
Your choice
When you first arrive we show a small card with three options: accept, essential only, or manage. Your choice is stored in the ww_consent cookie and you can change it any time from the link in the footer. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a no to identification without asking.
Visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland get no identification cookies until they accept. Elsewhere, including Australia, identification is on by default with this notice, and one click turns it off. Choosing essential only also deletes what we have already recorded against your visitor id.
What we do with it
Three things, and nothing else. Analytics: cookieless page counts (Umami) so we know which parts of the site are read — no cookie, no personal identifier. Company identification: the Leadfeeder tracker tells us which businesses visit, by matching the network you browse from to a company; it names the company, not the person. Recognising people we are already talking to: if you open a link we sent you, or unlock our pricing calculator with your code, our own visitor cookie connects your later visits to that conversation so we know what you looked at before we speak. We never use any of this for advertising, and we do not sell or share it beyond the providers named below.
The cookies
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ww_consent | Essential | Remembers the cookie choice you made on this site so we do not ask again. | 12 months | Weavwork (first party) |
ww_switch | Essential | Keeps our private pricing calculator unlocked after you enter a code. Only set on that page. | 30 days | Weavwork (first party) |
ww_switch_admin | Essential | Keeps the Weavwork team signed in to the calculator’s admin screen. Only set for our own staff. | 30 days | Weavwork (first party) |
ww_vid | Identification | A random visitor id so we can recognise a returning browser and, if you opened a link we sent you or used your calculator code, connect your visits to the conversation we are already having with you. | 12 months, rolling | Weavwork (first party) |
_lfa | Identification | Set by the Leadfeeder tracker to recognise a returning browser. Leadfeeder matches the network you are browsing from to a business so we can see which companies visit — it does not tell us who you are as a person. | Up to 2 years (see Leadfeeder’s policy) | Leadfeeder / Dealfront (third party) |
Umami analytics sets no cookie at all. The Leadfeeder tracker only loads when identification is on, and it runs in consent mode, so it sets nothing when you have said no.
What we record and for how long
Against a visitor id we record the pages viewed, which sections of a page were reached, how long the page was open, the kind of device (phone, tablet or desktop), the referring site or campaign, and the country when our hosting reports it. We do not store IP addresses in this log. Records are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Leadfeeder processes the IP address of your visit to match it to a company; its retention and safeguards are described in its own privacy policy.
