Privacy policy

Who we are

Weavwork LLC (“Weavwork”, “we”, “us”), a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, provides an ERP platform for manufacturers and the brands they supply. Our team works across Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information; where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply to our activities with Australian customers, we comply with them. It covers this website and our marketing activity — use of the Weavwork product itself is governed by the privacy terms in our customer agreement.

What we collect

Demo requests and enquiries. When you book a demo or contact us we collect what you give us: your name, work email, company, role, approximate production volume, current system and any notes you add. We use it to respond to you — there is no mailing list and no automated follow-up sequence.

Website logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability, retained for a limited period. This site currently runs no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics; if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Product data. When a customer uses Weavwork, their business records (orders, products, contacts and similar) may include personal information about their staff, customers and suppliers. We process that information on the customer’s behalf under our agreement with them; the customer remains responsible for it. Questions about a record held in a customer’s Weavwork account are best directed to that customer, though you can also contact us and we will pass the request on.

How we use personal information

To respond to demo requests and enquiries; to provide, secure and improve the website and the product; to meet our legal obligations; and, only where you would reasonably expect it, to tell you about Weavwork itself. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run Weavwork, under contract and only for the purposes above: Amazon Web Services (infrastructure for the Weavwork product), Railway (hosting for this website) and Resend (transactional email). Data may be stored outside Australia, including in the United States; where it is, we take reasonable steps consistent with APP 8 to ensure it is handled in line with this policy. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Security

Data to and from our services is encrypted in transit. Access to personal information is limited to people who need it to do their job. See our security overview for more on how the product protects customer data.

Retention

We keep demo-request details while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. Website logs are kept for a limited period. Customer product data is retained per the customer agreement and deleted or returned when a customer leaves.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to privacy@weavwork.com. If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your local privacy regulator — for Australians, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

We will update this policy as Weavwork grows — for example if we add analytics or new service providers — and the date at the top always reflects the current version.
